TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS ENGINEER (NETWORKING)
My client a global solution services organisation, who have experienced phenomenal growth and have on going expansion plans currently seek a Technical Solutions Engineer to work in their award wining Pre-Sales team . Working closely with the sales team this role will be responsible for providing both pre and post sales project management support to clients at a technical level. This will include but not be limited to developing proposals, running technical workshops (implementing and managing training rooms) and conducting demonstrations and presentations. You will also be responsible for technical analysis, diagnosis and design of network critical physical infrastructure solutions within the networking market. You will also work closely with application engineers and third party contractors to implement and complete customer solutions.
The ideal candidate will be degree or diploma qualified in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering and will have at least 3 years experience in a pre-sales role with a strong technical background preferably within solutions with strong knowledge of software and networking. Basic knowledge of cooling is highly desirable as is facilities management within data centres. You will have excellent communication and relationship management skills and the ability to present for a range of audiences.
