Our Federal Government client is looking for experienced Java J2EE Developer
To be successful in this position you must possess some of the following skills or knowledge.
The ideal candidate would have some of the following skills or knowledge.
- Well versed in object oriented design and development, including a well developed understanding of design patterns, UML and iterative development methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to review and build software components using Java/J2EE, and custom software components. Experience in any of the following technologies would be highly regarded:, Eclipse, PostgreSQL and Linux.
- Experience with complex software requirements and be able to apply their knowledge of software development within an enterprise environment using industry and Government standards and best practice.
- Demonstrated experience with software quality assurance methods including: unit testing, regression testing, peer code reviews and defensive programming.
- Operate flexibly within a small multi-disciplinary team using excellent communications skills combined with strong analytical, problem solving and documentation skills.
- An understanding of model driven architecture and a willingness to adapt to new development methodologies.
Applicants must have some of the following skills in developing commercial applications in Java and J2EE.
Solid knowledge of the following required:
- Using Websphere Portal 6.0
- J2EE (CMP/BMP, MDB, Session Beans, JMS, Servlets, JSP)
- OO design and development (UML and Design Patterns)
- Experience with WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Portal Server
- Java Programming
- XML
- SQL
- Completed a course in Websphere Portal fundamentals
- Using EMC Documentum 5.2 or higher
- Documentum administration experience in an implementation of Documentum Content Server and Documentum Web Publisher including:
- Administration and support for workflows, lifecyles, content storage and security
- Managing Document and procedures
- Completed a course in Content management fundamentals & Ominfind Search capability
