Our client is a global building service organisation who is currently in the process of recruiting a Senior Supervisor / Estimator based around the Canberra area. You will take the lead role in ensuring quality services, be responsible for assisting the expansion into the ACT region, as a result of high demand in the building services and maintenance industry.

The successful applicant will take immediate responsibility for a number of high profile projects within the building industry. In addition to formulating project quotations to perform building works you will exercise the supervision of subcontractors, generate and monitor feedback from existing clients and maintain regular contact and build rapport with all personal involved. You will be dealing with a wide array of clients including leading builders, government and private developers, insurance companies as well as various property funds.
This position is absolutely critical to our clients continued success in the region, so it is essential that you have solid experience within the Insurance Building or Construction Industry. You need to be a dynamic business minded individual with an adaptable personality and willingness to work autonomously. Ideally you will have a minimum of 3-7 years being spent in a Supervisor or Estimating role. Excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to successfully generate new business leads and close deals. You should be commercially minded and be able to hit the ground running. Our client is also keen to hear from individuals looking to step up to the challenge.
Ideally you will also hold a professional qualification in the Building Industry.
Remuneration will be second to none and consist of a highly attractive basic salary, fully maintained vehicle, tools of trade plus much more.
