The Role
Maintain current information for Departmental Bank Accounts. Ensure payments to vendors are transmitted daily on time. Ensure cheques and cash are banked regularly. Goods receipt invoices for National Office provide support, advice and training with respect to budgets and Finance.
The Duties
- Upload bank transactions through Reservelink and liaise with other staff to ensure transactions are uploaded into correct account codes.
- Create payment files and send to RBA via Reservelink.
- Processing receipts and creating Invoices.
- Perform Real Time Balances to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet payments due.
- Table details of rejected payments and communicate relevant information to Accounts Payable - Officer/CSA Payroll. Redirect payments to correct bank A/C via Reservelink according to instructions from A/C Payable/Payroll.
- Prepare banking of cheques and cash and bank at Reserve Bank.
- Goods receipt invoices.
- Debt Collection of overdue accounts.
- Other duties as required.

- General filing and archiving.
