Senior Financial Planner - Hong Kong

The X-pat team offering truly strategic and holistic advice is one of the largest and most successful teams in Hong Kong and the Asian market. The business invests in full marketing support to assist you with the growth of your client base targeting the X-pat market. In addition, there is an existing Indian client network, where a Financial Planner fluent in Gujarati has the opportunity to truly excel.
This is a unique opportunity, which will enable you to hold a dual license in Australia and Hong Kong in order for you to continue to represent some of your premier clients in Australia should you choose. This is an opportunity for both salaried and independent advisers.
Your Responsibilities
-Develop a marketing strategy with the Sales and operations manager to utilise the marketing resources and optimise business development within the X-pat market
-Develop and manage new business
-Provide holistic lifestyle financial planning advice to the target X-pat client market
-Direct your technical resource / relationship manager to ensure superior and compliant client service is provided to your clients allowing your time to be more focused on business developing activities
-Identify and initiate new opportunities to raise and develop brand awareness in the Asia market
Your Experience
-Preferably 5 years ( min 3 yrs) experience in the role of Financial Planner / Adviser
-Proven track record developing and retaining new clients of high net worth or premium retail
-Fluent in Gujarati
-Client centric approach and delivery
-Strong technical competency and strategic capability
-Team player
-Great initiative and solution orientation
-Tertiary qualifications with industry specific post graduate qualifications preferable
