This is an innovative and successful communication products company who have an international market presence.
Within the Engineering team a PCB / CAD Draftsperson is required to provide expertise to both new and existing design projects for Digital, RF and Analog Electronics circuits. This will include schematic entry, routing, layout for multi layered PCB designs.
You will be joining a stable and secure company with the opportunity of translating design ideas into manufactured PCB Designs for Electronics equipment used by customers throughout Australia and internationally.
Your duties & responsibilities will include:
- Schematic entry, layout and routing for multi-layer PCB designs
- Utilise CAD software to create clear, complete and unambiguous electronic drawings
- Work alongside the team of Design Engineers to develop new products from manufactured PCB designs
- Resolve any potential PCB design issues by liaising with PCB manufacturers
- Liaise with other departments such as production and QA
Skills, Knowledge and abilities:
- Diploma or Certificate in Electronics
- Experience in PCB Design
- Knowledge of schematic and PCB layout
- Practical knowledge and/or experience in surface mount technology and multi-layered PCB design
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
