To assist Manteena is with our clear focus on safety and quality we need OHS professionals to advise and participate in the management of our safety requirements on construction sites in the ACT region.
You will:
-Be a member of a team working closely with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor and Integrated Systems Manager
-Take the lead in implementing and administering Manteena’s safety system on designated construction sites.
-Educate staff and contractors on safe work practices, safety inspections and audits,
-Act on site safety matters and
-Maintain and ensure all documentation complies with standards
To be successful you need to demonstrate your:
-Experience with OHS in a work environment
-Ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team,
-Sound communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels
-Ability to implement key OHS policies, procedures and standards
-Ability to influence positive changes to safety culture
-Holding a Certificate IV in OHS or equivalent
-Computer literacy
-Commitment to uphold and model company values, including a strong ethic of confidentiality
A structured training and workplace support program forms part of this role.
