Our client a Federal Government agency based in Canberra is seeking an APS5 position to work a three month contract within their Corporate Services Division.
The objective of this position is to assist with undertaking quality assurance on ministerial and departmental correspondence. This includes ensuring correspondence complies with the Department’s style guide, approved standard words and other approved guidelines.
Your duties will include but not limited to:-
- Responsible for undertaking quality assurance audits on ministerial and departmental correspondence to ensure compliance;
- Responsible for managing requests for extensions on due dates for ministerial correspondence in accordance with approved guidelines;
- Responsible for assisting with the ministerial correspondence workflows such as coding, registration, packaging, campaigns and dispatching, as required;
- Responsible for managing workflows efficiently and effectively to ensure deadlines and expected timeframes are met;
- Responsible for ensuring the provision of timely and effective client services to support the Minister’s Office and the Department;
- Responsible for working effectively as part of an integrated operational team and providing support and assistance to other team members in relation to day to day service activities.
To be successful for this position you will possess a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy, strong administration skills and the ability to manage work priorities within tight deadlines.
You will have previous experience working in a similar position along with public service experience. You must be an Australian Citizen to apply for this position.
