Have you previous experience in PC and MAC Support? If so this role may be for you.
A large organisation in Canberra needs a contractor until the end of February (at least) to help out with the helpdesk calls. This person will have to provide support via the telephone and also have to walk around the organisation helping people with their PC and MAC queries.
Must have a strong working background of how to diagnose problems with the PC’s and MAC’s and have a good knowledge of applications such as Word and Excel.
Experience required:
- Previous experience as an IT support person and proficient knowledge of Windows XP and MAC desktops in a large organisation.
- Familiarity in PC and Macintosh hardware.
- Familiarity with desktop PC office and tecnhical applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory 2003 and associated network services.
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
