Excellent long term contract opportunity for highly skilled and experienced Midrange Web Developers who have a sound technical understanding of midrange processes to be part of a team analysing, designing,developing, testing and maintaining Midrange products in Managed Midrange Environment.
12 months contract

Scope of Work
Analyse, design, build, test and implement, Enhance and maintain the Midrange systems and products
Prepare technical specifications, operational procedures and other documentation as required
Skills and Experience Requirements
- In-depth knowledge and significant experience of development skills using:
Visual Basic.Net 2005
.Net Framework 2.0
C#.Net 2005
ASP.Net 2005
SQL Server 2005 & Reporting Services 2005 & T.SQL (Stored Proc & Scripts)
Visual SourceSafe 2005
Visual Basic Scripting (ASP) and
Others such as COM+, MSI, HTML, JavaScript, Windows 2003 server, XML and XSL
2. Experience in building web based and
reporting applications
3. Demonstrated ability to work in the n-
tier application development; Windows
2003 environment
4. Demonstrated systems analysis, design
and problem solving skills
5. Experience with the following will be
highly regarded:
- preparation and deployment of batch processes and associated scheduling technologies for medium to large scale applications
- establishment of source control procedures and deployment procedures to allow the development work to be promoted through a multi-tiered architecture
creating and maintaining systems documentation for web applications
