Tired of FIFO? Metgasco is developing coal seam and conventional gas discoveries in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia – North Eastern NSW. Our field operations are located at Casino close to the vibrant regional centre of Lismore. Three hours driving time from Brisbane and one hour to the beaches of northern NSW, Lismore has excellent schools, health facilities, Southern Cross University, restaurants and all of the other amenities of living in a major regional country centre.

Metgasco is a publically listed company with the largest certified gas reserves in NSW. We are developing a major gas resource close to south eastern Queensland and expect significant future growth. We are currently looking for experienced field operations personnel, including a Senior Gas Field Operator to join our Operations team. Ideally you will have experience in CSM /Oil and Gas production, workover operations and wireline testing.
To become a member of our team, you will need to be hard working, physically fit, honest and reliable with a strong mechanical background and experience in the operation of gas facilities, pumps and engines.
Desirable (but not necessary) Qualifications:
- HC or MC current Driver’s Licence
- WorkCover tickets – Crane, Backhoe, Loader
- Current BOP certification
- First Aid Training
- Certificate I, II or III in Gas Operations
