Underground Electrician - Zinc Lead Maintenance and Support
Currently a vacancy exists for an Underground Electrician Installation, Electrical and Hydro Rig Maintenance at George Fisher Mine.
Reporting to the Electrical Installation & Mobile Supervisor, the successful applicants will be performing a range of duties involving routine maintenance, breakdown work, installation and problem diagnosing.
We are looking for someone with:
- Trade Qualifications and have worked in your trade for at least 2 years.
- Ability to demonstrate competency within your trade.
- The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- A good attendance and safety record.
- The ability to think logically to solve problems and the tenacity to work until a solution is found.
- Ability to take on new challenges and responsibilities and learn new skills.
Experience with HV cable joining and cable installation as well as the ability to undertake HV switching will be considered an advantage.
