We are currently working with a premier Oil and Gas Company in Western Australia, assisting in the sourcing of candidates for a range of technical Geoscience roles.
Key roles
Exploration Geophysicist (X3)
Development Geophysicist (x1)
Development Geologist (x2)
Exploration Geophysicist opportunities.
We are looking for 3 Exploration Geophysicists, each working on a special Project area within the group.
Role requirements
• Integration of 2D and 3D data, seismic and other.
• Application of visualization techniques to this complex data
• Development of subsurface models
• Use of volume interpretation workflows, such as Voxelgeo, Emerge, PCA, Geoprobe and Gocad/Volume Explorer.
• Horizon mapping and fault framework interpretation
• Analysis of key reservoir issues
To be considered for these opportunities you will need the following
• Degree qualification or higher in Geoscience/Geophysics
• Significant experience in a similar function
• Experience in mentoring junior Geophysicists, Geologists and technical personnel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including liaison with contractors
• Strong and positive attitude towards safety in the work place.
