This is a great opportunity for an Adelaide based Geotechnical Engineer to join a market-leading mining company.
You will be reporting to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, with some of your responsibilities including:
- Design and implementation of optimal stopes, spans and pillar designs
- Design and monitoring of ground support, back fill systems, and control instrumentation
- Collecting, analysing and reporting geological data
- Leadership and mentoring of junior geotechnical staff
Liaising with and coordination of contractors
You will need to be degree qualified in Mine Engineering or Geology as well as having at least 3 years experience in a metalliferous underground environment. Previous experience with Map3D and Vulcan is an advantage.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $125k - $165k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
