Austereo, (SAFM & Triple M) Australia’s largest radio broadcaster is always looking for talented, dynamic and experienced Media Account Executives to join their team. Right now their looking to create a talent bank of suitable sales professionals who are keen to join the already successful Local Sales Team at Austereo in the Unley Offices.
When successful, you will be:
Working within a close-knit team, your sales role is a mix servicing existing key clients and developing new accounts. You will have a focus towards developing new accounts through your tireless cold calling and B2B prospecting. You will also develop those accounts by offering unique solutions including On air, Online and so much more.
To be considered, you will need to demonstrate:
• An ability to develop and build upon relationships with your clients
• A successful background ideally gained in Media
• A burning passion for the industry
• That you are an excellent planner, who is organised with a ‘can do’ attitude
• That you are able to create compelling pitches representing excellent brands
• You are comfortable dealing with people at all levels both internally and externally
• First-class negotiation and commercial skills
• Past successes in all your new business sales roles
Person Description:
Above all, you will be passionate about radio and passionate about our stations. You will also be enthusiastic, strategic, ambitious and committed to increasing sales, meeting your budget and earning commission.
