The Company
Listed on the ASX, our client is one of Melbourne’s most progressive Building Contractors. The company covers development of Commercial projects, whilst also landscaping and civil decision to their business. Due to the ever increasing project pipeline they are looking for a dynamic Project Manager who can deliver on a $20M Commercial project in the CBD.
The Position:
Working closely with Operations Manager and Construction Manager your role will be to establish yourself across all aspects of the project from the initial project briefing, engagement and co-ordination of related contractors and consultants to final negotiation, PCG & PRG reporting, programme reporting. You will need to deal competently with complex environments and, demonstrate your ability as a facilitator to complete work effectively and to company standard.
The Requirements:
Ideally you will posses tertiary qualifications in construction or selected discipline with excellent interpersonal; skills and a keen eye for detail. It will be advantageous to have 5 +years experience managing projects of $15m and above. You will possess a composed disposition having a flexible leadership style that can quickly adapt to changing priorities. Coupled with a strong business/financial acumen you will be the driving force to ensure a successful project completion. Previous Project Management experience in government or institutional projects will be highly regarded.
