RCPA Quality Assurance Programs Pty Ltd is Australia’s major provider of External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs for diagnostic laboratories. The Company is looking to appoint experienced IT professionals in their Adelaide Office to enhance computing capability and streamline existing and future computer applications.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER
The Software Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the RCPA Quality Assurance Programs software. The Software Engineer will design and develop appropriate software for the collection, management and reporting of data for QAP departments as directed by the Software Development Manager. The Software Engineer is also responsible for ensuring that all company software is documented and tested.
EXPERIENCE
Mandatory:
- C++ (Windows applications) and/or Java (application and applets) development
- Experience with relational databases
- Proven experience in developing complex software programs
- Writing technical documentation
Desirable:
- Experienced in Borland C++ IDE
- Experienced in MySQL
- Familiarity with ColdFusion, JSP and Java applet website development and deployment using Apache and Tomcat
- Familiarity with functional testing tools such as QTP
- Experience developing Health and Pathology software systems
This position will report directly to the Company Software Development Manager. A suitable salary package will be negotiated based on the qualifications and experience of the chosen candidates.
