Senior Systems Engineer is required for a client who is a leading light in the entertainment and leisure industry in New Zealand and Australia. They are at the forefront of utilising leading edge “state of the art” technology in the ongoing development of their business.
Senior Network and Systems Engineer
Large and Complex Enterprise Environment!
Due to commercial demand they are seeking a Microsoft Senior Systems Engineer with skills in citrix, VMWare and Cisco to take a major role in their enterprise infrastructure roll out. As part of your duties you will provide the technical skills and experience for the design and delivery of ICT solutions to meet Corporate and ICT objectives, as defined by the CIO. The role will also include the development of new operational procedures and documentation and training of junior service desk and operational staff.
Your other primary duties will include investigating complex situations and diagnosing underlying causes and you will be expected to establish and maintain high levels of performance and availability. You will provide internal consulting capability working with other business units on improving and maintaining the infrastructure
The successful candidate will ideally be degree qualified with MCSE (or similar) qualifications with commercial 8-10 years experience in enterprise environments with heavy experience in 200+ server environments. This role is for a heavyweight technical specialist with excellent communication and written skills who never accepts “good enough” as “good enough”.
