Goodlife Health Clubs are currently seeking an experienced Club General Manager to manage and mentor our team at Wintergarden.
We’re looking for an energetic and hardworking individual who wants to put their management, leadership and motivation skills to good use in the fastest growing health club group in Australia.
The primary role of the Club General Manager is to manage and oversee all aspects of Club Operations. Management of the Clubs financial budget in achieving membership growth and bottom line profit is key. Excellent management and organisational skills are a must along with good communication, promotional and interpersonal skills.
As the Club General Manager, you will also be responsible for:
- Understanding, implementing and supporting company initiatives and programs
- Recruitment of new staff members
- Coaching, mentoring and motivating team members
- Establishing and monitoring club budget
- Proactively attracting new members to the club, and the
- Coordination of all marketing and advertising with sales staff and departmental heads
A minimum of 2 years experience in managing staff within a sales environment is required. Whilst not essential, management experience within the fitness industry is desired.
