We currently have one part-time position available at Oakey Barracks 30 Mins outside of Toowoomba. If you are an experienced Dentist with at least 12 months post graduate clinical experience we would like to speak to you! As a contracted civilian Dentist you would be responsible for the provision of dental services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) members.
The Dentist will be required to:
- Participate in Quality Management activities;
- Comply with OH&S regulations/guidelines, ADF Policies and procedures; - participate in Continuing - Professional Development activities seminars and workshops.
Tasks will include
- Emergency dental treatment;
- Dental examinations, reviews and referrals;
-Routine dental treatment including minor oral surgery as necessary;
- Promotion and maintenance of oral health;
- Liaise with other military and civilian dental and health professionals in relation to patient clinical care needs as required; and
- Provide clinical or technical advice to Command.
- Maintenance of patient’s clinical records;
- Supervision and assessment of assigned dental auxiliary personnel;
- Provide input into reporting requirements for military and APS personnel;
- Assist with the administration of the dental facility;
- Comply with clinical and administrative policies, procedures and work instructions;
