If you want a role with a bit of autonomy, are sick of being chained to the helpdesk or are just fed up with wearing a suit, this is a great opportunity.
You’ll be buzzing around the Brisbane metro area, providing face to face technical support to SOHO (small office home office) users. This will involved a mixture of install & config work, troubleshooting, solution selling, hardware & O/S upgrades, etc.
The successful candidates will come from a strong tech support background probably having done either commercial helpdesk or desktop work, predominately focusing on Wintel technologies. You will need to have some wider technical skills working across wireless networks, ADSL, security, anti-virus & anti-spam and even Macs.
The list of benefits is long. Plenty of training, a PDA, bonuses of 10-20%, and best of all a fully maintained new car which you can use for personal use (Yes - you will need a full licence!). There is also structured training including internal technical courses , MCP, VISTA training as well as customer service training. You will need to be available to work a 7 day roster (NB: there is no night shift work though).
