An Overhead Wiring Designer/ Technician is urgently required by an established and highly reputable global rail company, for a major rail electrification project.
$100k package salary

An experienced Overhead Wiring Designer/ Technician is required for a major rail alliance in Queensland, which is due for completion in 2012. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading rail contractor and gain experience on a major OHW project. Opportunities for further career advancement and development are available. This would suit an ambitious OHW Designer/ Technician looking for a dual site and office role, reporting to a Senior OHW Designer and liaising closely with the site team.
The Overhead Wiring Designer/ Technician duties will consist of:
- OHW Design (CAD)
- Design and technical advice
- Bill of quantities
- Site surveys
- Design check and coordination
- A minimum of 3 years overhead wiring design experience is essential for this position, with proven site exposure. A tertiary qualification is required, along with proven CAD and preferably Microstation. Experience of 1500V and 25KV design is sought.
