This Brisbane-based company is a market-leading supplier to the generation, transmission and distribution sectors in the areas of transformer insulation, power monitoring and measurement equipment. With consistently high growth over recent years, employing 60 staff, and with a turnover trending toward $20m, they now seek to appoint a Quality and Safety Coordinator.
Reporting to the Special Projects Manager, this varied role will see you responsible for the development, implementation and management of Quality and Safety Systems within the manufacturing facility - including 5S, WH&S, TPM, Process Mapping, and ISO standards. Your focus will be on initiating a program of continuous improvement and raising the awareness and understanding of all company employees through an ongoing assessment, and training matrix.
With an industrial manufacturing background, you will have a proven track record of having initiated and managed the relevant quality management tools and safety standards for the workplace. A natural communicator, comfortable in the roles of both advisor and trainer, you will have a keen eye for improvements and the drive to implement change for the better. However, it will be your ability to instil a culture of teamwork and “ongoing improvement” that gives you job satisfaction and will ultimately see you succeed in this role.
