Our client is a global leading consultancy who has recently entered the Brisbane market. Due to their strong reputation across the World, they have been awarded work packages on one of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects and urgently seek a Senior Geotechnical Engineer.
Working on-sie alongside the main contractor, this role is to provide design services for temporary works and requires you to have good knowledge in rock mapping and rock bolt design. Previous experience of supervising ground anchor installation is advantageous and excellent client liaison and coordination experience is a must. You will have a strong focus on build-ability and an excellent knowledge of construction principles, and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Previous experience on high-rise buildings, tunnelling or dam infrastructure projects is desired and a proven background in geotechnical modelling using packages such as Plaxis is required.
This role will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to work on one of Australia’s premier projects, and will give you the chance to work with a company with a strong worldwide presence and the opportunity for international travel.
