Rare opportunity exists for a Senior Mining Engineer to take an exciting Corporate role with one of Queensland’s leading mining companies.
You will be joining a professional team of engineers and will be responsible for coordinating the planning and operational management for several projects throughout the Bowen Basin.
Reporting to the technical services manager you will be responsible for:
- Developing and optimising dragline and drill & blast designs
- Develop, maintain and communicate mining plans, budgeting and cost control
- Conducting planning and reports of business and budget statistics
- Project Management and supervision of junior engineers
Ideally you will possess:
- Degree in Engineering (Mining or Civil)
- 3-5 years experience in a similar mine planning role
- Experience with Vulcan and Xpac software
- Ability to communicate plans and facilitate relevant meetings
- Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $110K-$140K + Benefits.
Salaries outside this range will be considered for applicants with exceptional skills.
