We are seeking an experienced finance officer at the APS 4 level to support the Accounts Payable Manager of a large federal government department.
The person must be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail, finance knowledge and an understanding of Accounts Payable. They must also be very motivated and enthusiastic and have the ability to build strong working relationships. Training will be provided.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- General reporting
- End of Month processes
- Processing complex payments, including Overseas Purchase Orders
- General support to AP Manager, including supervising sections workload and some recruitment as needed.
This role will be for an initial contract period however it has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
