Duties of this role include but are not limited to;
- Perform quality assurance for core SOE and Email components and other Customers as required.
- Assist with the management, preparation, and distribution of documentation and other deliverables required by software or hardware releases.
- Version control and publication of technical documentation in support of the operational requirements of the Secret and Restricted Networks.
- Focus on the protection of the Production environment and its services through the use of formal procedures and quality assurance.
- Ensure that hardware being changed, modified or implemented is traceable, secure and that only correct, authorised and tested versions released.
- Ensure software released into Production environment has gone through correct change management process.
Release design, build, configuration and acceptance documentation
Skills and experience required to be successful for this role are;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, and style, in order to provide consistent quality feedback;
- Demonstrated experience in preparation, delivery, review and assessment of instructional and procedural documents for compliance with standards as well as the ability to liaise with document authors;
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the release management processes and practices;
- Have a demonstrated understanding of current security considerations associated with working in a high security environment.
