My client are undergoing a massive period of growth, and as a result are looking for an experienced Traffic Engineering Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading company in a key role and reap the rewards.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- The investigation, design and provision of technical advice for the installation of all traffic operations facilities within my clients field of activities including:
- Road Safety Audits
- Road User Safety and Management
- Accident Investigation
- Road Line Marking
- Regulatory and Advisory Traffic Signposting
- Safety Barriers
- Identification of Road Hazard Locations.
Specific position accountabilities include the provisionof timely and appropriate technical advice to the Traffic Management Coordinator and the efficient and safe operation of the operation of the city’s traffic and transport network.
In order to be successfull in this role it is essential you have proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a local council or a division of Government. Relevant tertiary qualifications and suitable experience in traffic engineering, investigations and design of traffic and transport facilities and associated infrastructure relating to traffic and transport management
