We’re looking for a Java developer with XML, JSP and web front end skills to join a company operating in the area of business process automation.
Java developer - small company, tight team to $80K package

Java. This is a small team of Java developers who have become friends because it’s a great place to work.
The people who work here have energy and passion for coding.
They are looking for another person to join the team.
The right person is someone who sees Java coding not only as work but also as a hobby. Someone who takes a constant interest in Java related technologies. Someone whose ears prick up when they hear a new technical term that they have not previously heard - and must then go and understand what it is about.
The folks on this team are into open source software, in particular a number of the Apache projects including Tomcat, Xalan, Xerces. The company includes some project commiters.
The systems have a significant XML functionality so knowledge of XML/XSLT would be great.
You’ll also need web related Java development skills - HTML, JSP, CSS. Ajax experience is a nice to have - you’ll be working with the Google Web Toolkit.
The environment is both Windows and Linux.
The product that you’ll be working on is a workflow and business process management tool.
You’ll need to be the sort of person who is able to understand client business processes, and then work out the best way to implement them.
