Take on a senior role in designing and developing solutions in a Java/J2EE development environment working on a variety of internet related online products. You will also provide mentoring to Junior Software Engineers.
JAVA / J2EE DEVELOPER (SENIOR)
To be successful in attaining this position you must demonstrate the following background:
- 3 years+ commercial experience in J2EE & related technologies (SOAP, XML, XSL, JMS)
- Experience with integrating different technologies with J2EE
- Experience with Software Development Processes (such as RUP)
- Commercial exp in designing client-server architecture with strong emphasis on SOA
- Good knowledge of J2EE design patterns and their applications
- Experience in a J2EE application server environment (eg. JBoss)
- Experienced in UML design and related tools
- Strong written/verbal communication skills including being able to deal with business users and translating business requirements into IT solutions.
- Relational database skills in Oracle/Mapping tools a bonus
