This client is an Australian Project Management and Engineering Design Company with a strong reputation in the Oil & Gas industry. Due to increase workload, they seek the appointment of an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their operations in Melbourne
This role will be one that is challenging yet very rewarding from both an intrinsic and extrinsic perspective. You can anticipate the following in this role :
- Ensure Mechanical Design work is inline with client requirements
- Provide detailed Piping Design input
- Check design work to ensure it meets relevant industry codes and standards
- Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure work is in accordance to proposed time frames
- Mentor, manage and provide guidance to junior mechanical engineers (if required)
To be successful in this role, you must be tertiary qualified with demonstrated experience in mechanical piping design of Oil & Gas projects. You should at least have 5 years experience to be considered for a mid level role and 10 years for the Senior Mechanical Engineer position
