Our client is a privately owned Australian company and is a FMCG icon that has demonstrated continued innovation and ongoing success over an impressive history. They have a brand portfolio which spans across categories including Dry Groceries, Confectionery, Biscuits and Cakes, Perishables and Frozen Foods.
This well established organisation requires a Warehouse Supervisor, with strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively lead by example.
Principle responsibilities will involve managing all facets of the warehouse operations, forecasting expected workload volumes, planning and coordinating the allocation and utilisation of labour, motivating personnel and managing performance.
To be successful you MUST have the following key attributes and competencies:
· Extensive leadership and/or managerial experience in a warehouse environment
· Excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate and empower staff
· Results driven with good time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
· Experience in dealing with high volume stock
· Good knowledge of OH&S, HACCP issues
· Excellent verbal and written communication as well as good problem solving abilities
