One of Australia’s largest oil and gas companies is looking for a Lead Instrument Engineer to work in their Perth office and work on a variety of local and international hydrocarbon projects. You will be involved in all facets of the project including vendor liaison, bid evaluation and procurement for all instrumentation, valve and control system packages including factory testing and vendor document review.
You will have:
- A Bachelor of Engineering
- 6 years experience in the oil & gas industry
- Significant experience with a major engineering services provider
- Experience in the specific issues and the design processes associated with implementing changes to operational brownfield oil & gas facilities
- The experience and ability to lead and manage small groups of engineers and designers within multi-disciplinary teams
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems for actuated valves on oil and gas production facilities
- Experience at a senior level within the oil & gas industry as well as knowledge of all phases of offshore projects from FEED to commissioning and handover would be advantageous, though opportunities exist for junior to senior instrument designers.
Salary will be commensurate upon experience but will be in the range of $120K - $170K. Salaries outside this range will be considered for applicants of exceptional experience.
