We currently have two Radio Technician vacancies with two of our exceptional clients.
OPPORTUNITY # 1: COMMUNICATIONS MOBILE RADIO TECHNICIAN
Large emergency services organisation
As a Communications Mobile Radio Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining mobile radio systems and repeaters and other general communications duties as required.
The role:
- SOR role with away work every 6 weeks, for 8 - 10 days at a time
- Good hourly rate, vehicle use (can keep for on call work), phone and laptop
- 6 month contract with permanency potential
- Work variation (bench / site work, install / maintenance)
You will have:
- A Trade / Diploma or relevant qualification
- 5 years experience
- Basic tools (specialist tools provided)
OPPORTUNITY # 2: COMMUNICATIONS RADIO TECHNICIAN
Leading provider in the supply, implementation and support of two-way and wireless communications
As a Communications Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of communications equipment.
Scope of Work:
- HF, VHF and UHF radio systems; including analog, digital and trunk
- Microwave links
- Satellite communications
- Point to Point and Point to Multi-point wireless networks
- System design
You will have:
- Experience with radio communications systems
- Ideally a trade, diploma or certificate in communications, electrical and electronics
- Great team orientated attitude
- Intelligent common sense approach to projects
