Our client, a leading financial services company, has an exciting opportunity in Application Support and Development. Working within the support team, you will assist with the development of application solutions, as well as being involved in application support.
This role is a hybrid of support and development, allowing you to expand on your skills in both areas. You will be involved in:
- Supporting and maintaining vendor systems configuration
- Assisting with the development, testing and maintenance of application solutions
- Database data integrity and definition
- Investigation of user requirements / problems
The successful candidate will ideally come from either a Development or Support background, and will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of the SDLC
- A passion for support and development
- Programming skills in VB and SQL
