This successful building supplies manufacturer has a significant presence in Australia, responsible for creating innovative products for the construction industry. The Assistant Accountant role within the Finance team is available as an ongoing, full-time contract.
Assistant Accountant
-$60K + super, pro-rata.
-Ongoing contract, temp to perm opportunity.
-Based in North Shore, near public transpor.
Reporting to the Finance Manager within the team, you will be responsible for performing reconciliations and financial reporting across the business. Your ability to manage and problem solve across multiple general ledgers, and prioritise your workload, will be essential. You will need to be motivated and able to demonstrate strong initiative skills, based on your experience.
The ideal candidate for this position will have accounting qualifications, with broad finance/accounting experience in reconciling and reporting. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as flexibility to meet company reporting deadlines. Previous experience in SAP and/or the building/construction industry would be a distinct advantage.
