Our Client is a leader in the wealth management environment which designs, develops and administers financial products that enable customers to achieve their financial goals through the accumulation, management and protection of personal wealth. Our client is now seeking an experienced Claims Officer to join their growing team.
Scope of the role:
-Manage, assess process and review a portfolio of claims
-Provide technical/mentor support to peers within the claims team.
-Assist in projects relating to the claims team.
Duties and responsibilities:
=Manage and assess a portfolio of claims and claimants, including:
- Maintaining diary system
- Maintaining customer service standards within the guidelines provided.
- Maintaining communication levels with external parties as agreed to by Claims Manager and Product Manager
= Providing technical/mentor support to Team Members
= Organising, briefing, assessing and reviewing surveillance, technical surveys and other reports.
=Managing all claims effectively and efficiently within underwriting principles, given time frames and processing guidelines.
=Maintaining statistical data for end of month reporting ensuring delivery of reports is in accordance with agreed reporting cycle.
=Processing claims and payments including cheque grouping and ensuring payments are made and signed correctly and within underwriting guidelines.
= Monthly/Regular review of all claims files
=Regular quality report, initial claim reserve/actual cost comparison.
Your experience will include:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Household and Consumer products - or similar
- Good product knowledge
- High level computer literacy skills, including Outlook, Word & Excel
