Our client is a multi-discipline practice that provides legal advice as part of its array of services. They have a first class client base that is interesting due to its varied nature, from small businesses through to major public multi-nationals.
This role will be attractive to any corporate/commercial lawyer as the organisation does not have billable hours and has a flat and open structure which means you will work closely with all members of staff and take on genuine responsibility from day one.
To be right for this role you will be a corporate/commercial lawyer with circa 2-5 years PAE who has strong technical skills and the confidence to provide first class service. Our client is not too concerned about your firm background as long as you can show you have the necessary excellent technical legal skills and the right attitude.
The type of work will be varied and will include: commercial, franchising, trade practices, business sales and purchases, mergers, distribution agreements, joint ventures, corporate governance, international trade, industry licences and others. As the firm is international and has offices across Australia your workload will often have an international or interstate dimension.
This role will be perfect for you if you are currently in an in-house role as you will find a similar working environment or if you are a confident and driven private practice lawyer who is looking to make the move to a more commercial organisation and want to retain high quality legal work.
