The candidate must be able to engage the business and IT teams to set and communicate architectural direction. In setting that
direction the candidate must demonstrate prior experience in balancing both the business objectives and technical architecture standards.
Must be able to apply enterprise architectural concepts, processes and analysis to oversee and lead the design of business technology
solutions.
Able to create robust, sustainable architecture that supports requirements and provides for scalability given budgetary constraints and
customer requirements.
Should have experience in building business, application, information and technology architectures, including working knowledge and
experience with project and program management.
Requirements
10+ years of full software lifecycle development
experience in large, complex systems?
5+ years of technical lead, project lead, and/or team lead experience?X3+ years as a senior or lead architect in Application, Information, Business and/or Technology architecture.?
Experience in insurance, health care or investments?
Experience in consulting a plus.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent IT experience Additional Qualifications:
Strong technical experience with a broad range of technologies including J2EE, XML, .NET, UNIX, SQL, Workflow and Web Services?
Experience with large-scale distributed systems using message queues, EJB servers, SOA and other related technologies
Experience with Data Modeling and various Databases such as DB2, Oracle and various operating systems
Experience in using established methodologies, notations (such as UML.), techniques (such
as Design Patterns) and tools.
Experience in providing coaching/mentoring to other team members
Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with Business Users and IT
A wide base of experience in many disciplines of information technology.
Manage scope and estimate delivery schedules for projects
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture, Application
Experience with Identity Management tool SYSTEM MASTER!
