Auto-IT is a rapidly growing company specialising in the supply of Dealer Management Software Solutions to the retail Automotive industry both within Australia and overseas.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a Technical Writer position based in our Sydney office at Kogarah.
This is an ideal role for you if you have had previous exposure to Technical Writing, have outstanding documentation and organisational skills and also have a flair for understanding new technologies.
Responsibilities include:
- Write and maintain a wide range of documentation including user manuals, online help, product material and training material
- Interpreting functional specifications & producing documentation to be used for new software releases and products
- Liaise with subject matter experts to create material from initial concept and enhancements to existing written material
- This role will also have involvement in software testing and quality assurance
Ideally you will have:
- Minimum 1 year exposure to Technical Writing duties
- Knowledge of document version controls, template creation, documentation design standards
- Specific experience with relevant products such as; Microsoft Word, Power Point, Visio or other documentation authoring tools
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, and a pro-active attitude
- Experience with creative tools such as photoshop would also be advantageous (however not necessary)
This position is also open to graduates and juniors who feel they posses the right attributes and experience for this role.
