We are looking for a senior software developer with comprehensive knowledge of development methodologies and approaches.
To be successful in this core technical team, you should demonstrate:
-Knowledge of latest development practices including agile programming/RAD
-Developing for services-oriented architecture and developing for n-tier environments
-Function-point analysis
-Wide range of development environments including Java (J2EE), Microsoft, C++
-Cost/benefit/risk analysis of development platforms and methodologies
-Significant Web/mobile/communications services development
-Establishing development environments for significant development projects
-Complex OLTP & OLAP applications
-Sizing and costing significant software development projects and undertaking software development risk assessments.
Knowledge of Border sector domain knowledge and expertise in applications development for risk management and/or the processing of international movements of people, goods or craft will be advantageous.
