We are seeking an experienced, motivated and reliable Storeperson for general warehouse duties including Goods inwards, Picking & Packing and Goods dispatch. The position could include some light manufacturing as well as occasional container loading.

The applicant will possess some computer system skills and a willingness to learn our system quickly. A forklift ticket is essential. Good communication skills, a happy disposition and a willingness to get on with the job and with fellow work colleagues. A neat and tidy warehouse must be maintained.

Stan Bond is a manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of home improvement products. The company has been established since 1970 and began its wholesale division, South Australian Blind Supplies, in 1983. The company is growing rapidly and working hard to be a leader in manufacturing, customer service and professionalism. It currently employs around 40 staff and contractors.

We require an enthusiastic person to join our team as store person/dispatch organiser. This position involves assisting delivery drivers in unloading and loading freight, dealing with freight companies, coordinating inwards and outwards goods and packaging our manufactured products so they can be safely transported.

This position is part of a team of 3 multi-skilled people and as such the successful applicant will also be trained in other areas including cutting and assembly so they can move around the organisation when necessary.

Coordinating inwards and outwards goods is a critical area of the business so it is important that the successful applicant can demonstrate attention to detail and an ability to check the correct product is being dispatched or received. As dispatch is the last process of supplying the customer their product it is important the product is delivered on time in perfect condition.

Many of our customers deal directly with our store team and as such it is important that our staff are friendly, courteous, and customer service focussed. This position is hands on but a person with the ability to show leadership would be highly desirable.

The position is full-time, with work hours of 7am -3:30pm, paid at above award rates and would involve paid overtime in busy times.

We currently have a diverse role for an enthusiastic Storeperson. The warehouse is in Yatala South where you join a small team of pickers/forklift drivers.

Your role is that of an all rounder your main responsibilities will be to pick orders in the warehouse for parts of refrigerator cases on the day shift ready for distribution to Woolworths store in the Brisbane area. You will be trained for 1 day on the day shift starting 14th Oct and utilised for the duration of the 6-8 week contract.

It would be advantageous to have a forklift license. You must have a drivers license/car as public transport around the area is limited.
