Financial Accountant
Our client operate within the maintenance, operations and project management sector supporting some of New Zealand’s leading organisations ensuring key infrastructure assets are maintained to a very high standard. They hold a dominate position in the market, not only here in NZ but also in Australia, Asia, the Middle East and North America.
They are looking for someone to support the Financial Reporting Manager within the Head Office. This is a pivotal role with definite career potential in time to either the FRM role or something else within one of the other business units. It is a great team and having all the key people in the one central office means you are able to really get involved in the business and understand what is going on and why. The role itself includes an array of tasks such as cash management, monthly management reporting, group reporting and systems controls.
To be successful in this position you will need to be CA qualified or close to it (doing PCE 2 this year or next) and preferably have some commercial experience within another large organisation. We would also consider someone coming straight out of a CA environment that has been exposed to large clients. Ideally you will have between 3-5years experience with strong IT skills preferably SAP but any large ERP would be good.
