Located in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs, Knox City Council is seeking applications for the above position to join our Information Management Team.
Full time position 1.0EFT (5 days a week)
Reporting to: Co-ordinator IT Operations
This role encompasses a wide range of diverse IT industry skills and technical involvement in the provision of a sound IT infrastructure within Council. The Technical Services Administrator will provide backup to the Network Administrator and will work closely with the IT Help Desk support staff in giving wider support to the Information management Team.
Your responsibilities will include a high level of skill and knowledge in:
- Microsoft Systems Management Server -SMS 2003
- Citrix - MetaFrame Presentation Server V4 Enterprise
- VMware - ESX 3.5 & VMware Infrastructure client 2.5
- Windows server platforms inc Windows AD Domain & GPO – W2000 –W2003
- Windows desktop platform, AD & GPO integration – XP/Vista
The successful applicant will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related discipline
- Relevant industry certification with demonstrated proficiency and experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work within a small dynamic team environment
- Previous substantial experience in a similar role is preferred
Base salary will be in the range of $59,991 to $65,520 (Band 6).
