Our client requires a Junior Reservoir Engineer for their offices in Perth, WA – this is a staff role.
The right applicant will provide petroleum engineering support to the organisations operated and non operated interests.
Provide technical support and commercial input to maximise the value of the company’s producing, static and exploration assets;
Provide petroleum engineering input on aspects of major decisions in petroleum, reservoir and development engineering;
Provide petroleum engineering guidance and well test design and planning support for drilling campaigns
Manage the organisations oil and gas resource and reserve inventories;
Conduct reserve audit and management studies;
Conduct analyses and prepare recommendations regarding production, petroleum and reservoir engineering software packages, data management etc;
Analyse appropriateness of emerging and alternative technologies for field development and petroleum engineering;
Prepare and production forecasts and monitor actual production, optimize production assets and report to management
Conceptual and full field development planning
Undertake technical, and assist with commercial, evaluations for New Venture prospects
Develop and/or monitor view capital, operating and production budgets;
The successful applicant will ideally have between 2-5 years experience in oil and gas industry experience across a wide range of companies and operating environments (field and office based engineering activities). An attractive salary and share option package is offered.
