Who will do best in this opportunity?
An experienced, proactive and self motivated PHP/ MySQL developer with a passion for music and entertainment. The role will involve the planning, documentation and implementation of new projects and the reengineering of existing online systems, including front and back end work, across our popular web portals and client projects.
There is also a strong focus on producing work that is both leading edge and innovative. With a thinking based around establishing work/ life balance, this role will best suit a professional with an outgoing personality, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen technical passion.
What do you need to score this opportunity?
You will need to be interested in music/ entertainment and be passionate about the web and the infinite possibilities this exciting medium offers. You will be working with and should have experience in:
- PHP 4 & 5 (Object Oriented & MVC programming techniques essential)
- MySQL 4 & 5
- Memcached and other caching systems or methodologies
- XML / SOAP / Webservices
- Linux/Unix & Apache
