In this role you will be working on developing frameworks and solutions that enable the executive of this large well known Financial Services leader a clear and concise read on the performance as against strategic objectives.
Data/BI Developer - 0779BG
$60 - $85 (hourly)
Wellington Central, North Island
Financial Services and Information systems/Management Information reporting is a growth area both in NZ and around the world. This is your chance to get the exposure before you head off to the UK or just build on your career locally.
Tasked with the development of BI solutions will see you working closely with both the business and consumer groups to ensure tools are effective in their delivery. Key relationships will be IS, differing business units and your team so you will have to bring a great communication skills to the table as this will see you dealing with all levels of the organisation.
Technically adapt with reporting tools and having a strong software development skill set will see you working to change, create and code new options for the business. We need people that are comfortable working in a mixed technical environment that covers SQL, SAS, TSQL, with the opportunity to learn Cognos, Microstrategy and more.
However if you have exposure to MS reporting or analysis services then we want to speak to you as well. On top of this, project management, RDMS design and experience in finance is highly sort after but not mandatory.
