Accounts & Finance Assistant / Assistant Accountant
The Role
- Obtain and implement a comprehensive working knowledge of the GL, prepare P&L, cash flow and balance sheets.
- Participate as an effective member of the team.
- Provide support in the preparation of forecasts.
- Assist with the preparation and lodgement of statutory returns as required.
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting of cash flow and liquidity.
The Skills
- Obtain a practical understanding of general ledger, debtors and creditors processing and procedures.
- Ability to analyse and communicate financial information
- Developing skills within financial / management accounting principles
- Computer literacy, with a sound knowledge of accounting software and spreadsheet programmes
- Ability to produce financial information and reports within required deadlines
Relevant tertiary qualifications, progressing towards attaining a recognised accounting qualification.
