The Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Business Analyst will take on an analytical yet very operational role across all areas of this multi-faceted global business. Please see some of the key duties highlighted below:
- The facilitation of a rolling cash flow forecasting model to build a global balanced scorecard.
- Implementing a robust quarterly forecasting capability through advanced excel modelling.
- Analysis and recommendations on current and future business drivers.
- Extensive competitor benchmarking and market share/sales analysis work.
- Review actual company performance Vs budgeted performance and commentary on variances for senior management.
- Review of existing products, product mix and pricing strategies .
- Looking at enhanced design and mapping of business critical workflow processes.
- Ad hoc analysis and support for special projects and bids and tenders.
- Some month end Accounting duties as and when required.
Your Profile
As the Business Analyst, and preferably near CA/CPA qualified you will be technically proficient and will ideally have come from a medium/large corporate.You will have strong financial modelling skills, a passion for process and systems improvement work and be able to communicate well across a large and constantly changing business. You will have ideally had prior experience from within a services based organisation.You will possess a results oriented approach to your work and see yourself as a strategic decision supporter of the business.

You will be expected to define requirements that meet the legislative obligations and are in alignment with the business risk as well as determine cost effective and efficient implementation solutions
You will establish a sustainable operational model through documenting and process analysis as a sound rationale for reporting purposes and maintenance
Experience necessary:
- Strong Business Analysis background with a business operational risk focus
- Capability to set up and lead a small project independently, aware of risk, issue and change management, effective in budget management, escalation and reporting

- Understanding of AML. If not then must have worked on a number of compliance based legislative projects
