The Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Business Analyst will take on an analytical yet very operational role across all areas of this multi-faceted global business. Please see some of the key duties highlighted below:
- The facilitation of a rolling cash flow forecasting model to build a global balanced scorecard.
- Implementing a robust quarterly forecasting capability through advanced excel modelling.
- Analysis and recommendations on current and future business drivers.
- Extensive competitor benchmarking and market share/sales analysis work.
- Review actual company performance Vs budgeted performance and commentary on variances for senior management.
- Review of existing products, product mix and pricing strategies .
- Looking at enhanced design and mapping of business critical workflow processes.
- Ad hoc analysis and support for special projects and bids and tenders.
- Some month end Accounting duties as and when required.
Your Profile
As the Business Analyst, and preferably near CA/CPA qualified you will be technically proficient and will ideally have come from a medium/large corporate.You will have strong financial modelling skills, a passion for process and systems improvement work and be able to communicate well across a large and constantly changing business. You will have ideally had prior experience from within a services based organisation.You will possess a results oriented approach to your work and see yourself as a strategic decision supporter of the business.
