An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join the Commercial Business team based at Eastwood.

The appointee will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of all commercial business tenders and proposals and will provide a point of contact for all commercial business personnel in relation to tenders, proposals and pricing.

You will have demonstrated experience in interpreting medium to large contracts in a relevant industry such as automotive or construction as well as outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Your keen eye for detail, excellent written and oral communication skills and strong MS Office skills will add further to your success. Knowledge of various databases would also be advantageous.

Contracts Administrator

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to join our passionate and outcome focused Corporate Team.

This position provides project coordination assistance to the Manager of Strategy and Projects, and acts as a central liaison between Employers Mutual and Work Cover in relation to contractual matters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing and drafting formal correspondence on behalf of the team
- Updating and maintaining the formal correspondence log and joint issues register
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements by keeping abreast of relevant governance, regulatory and legal obligations
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Effectively managing contractual assigned projects to ensure goals and required outcomes are achieved in line with agreed time frames
- The successful candidate will have worked within a Work Cover environment and have sound understanding of the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act (1986). Other attributes required include:
- Experience in project management and development of reporting/administration systems
- Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes within agreed time frames
- Demonstrated experience in creating formal correspondence
- Strong attention to detail
- Sound interpersonal and organisational skills

Overview:

I am looking for a Contracts Administrator to work in the Northern Territory administrating packages of works to the value of around $50 million dollars on various housing and infrastructure schemes, including.
- New Build Housing
- Refurbishment of existing properties
- Construction of infrastructure including water pipelines, roads and street lighting.

Role:
- An experience Contracts Administrator (2 years or more) is required to oversee up to $50 million packages of work in areas of the Northern Territory. I am looking to speak with people with the following:
- A Construction Related degree
- Based in the Northern Territory, preferably Darwin region.
- Superb communication skills and the ability to organise and liaise with site staff and sub contractors
